CarePump lymphatic drainage devices are distinguished by modernity, easy operation and parameters that guarantee high effectiveness of treatments. All devices enable the treatment of two limbs at the same time and work with a wide range of cuffs: for the lower limbs, upper limbs, the hip/belly belt, short pants, full pants and cuff for arm, shoulder and chest.
Advanced and Economic series devices have therapeutic pre-programs developed by specialists of the Polish Lymphological Society. Expert8 and Compact4 devices also have features for visually impaired people.
There is no training required to use CarePump devices. In case of any questions or doubts, our physiotherapists are at your disposal.
The lymphatic drainage treatment should be performed according to the needs - it can be performed even daily.
The use of CarePump devices is intuitive - they have been designed for users without professional education. A quick start guide is included to help you to correctly attach the cuffs without having to delve into the contents of the manual.
The pressure is set "to feel" - the pressure generated by the pumping cuffs should be gently felt. Thanks to this gentle effect, individual fragments of lymphatic vessels shrink faster and thus pump more lymph. In the case of people with sensory disturbances, the choice of parameters of the procedure should be decided by a doctor or physiotherapist.
Thanks to the double hose splitter, which is included in the set, two cuffs can be attached at the same time. If you perform the procedure with only one cuff, its hose is plugged directly into the socket of the central unit located at the back of the device.
The cuffs for each device are purchased separately. In addition to the standard leg cuffs for the CarePump devices, there is a possibility to buy additional cuffs for:
The cuffs are in universal size - for people who are slim after being filled with air, they fit perfectly to the body, whereas for people with a larger circumference of legs or hands, there is a possibility to buy a widener. Dimensions for individual cuffs are given on product cards.
2-year warranty.
The battery is an operating element - the number of charges is not less than 300. The charging cycle is understood by connecting the charger to the device each time. In order to extend the life of the battery, it is recommended to discharge it to at least 15% of its energy capacity. Then the full charging cycle should be performed again. It is also not recommended to use the device during charging. If necessary you can buy a new battery.
Yes, it is possible to test the device before making a purchase decision. For more information, please contact the Customer Service Department.
This is the number of sections into which the air-filled cuff is divided during the treatment. The larger the number of chambers in the cuff, the more precise the massage is, which allows to achieve better results.
The CarePump devices have from 4 to 15 therapeutic pre-programs (depending on the model) mostly developed by specialists from the Polish Lymphological Society. Each of them is dedicated to a specific disease. You will receive a detailed description of each operating mode along with a visualization of their course with the device. Available programs in EXPERT8:
It should be noted, however, that the above recommendations are not rigid - lymphatic drainage is a form of treatment in which it is particularly recommended to observe one's own body and adjust the parameters based on subjective feelings. The above does not apply in the case of advanced lymphatic, venous or fat swelling, when pneumatic lymphatic drainage is only an element complementary to a comprehensive anti-oedematous therapy - here it is worth to consult your doctor/physiotherapist in order to set the parameters of the procedure.
Yes, it is recommended to perform the treatment before the start of the training as an addition to the warm-up, which contributes to minimizing the risk of injury. CarePump devices from the Sport series have a program "Warm-up, prevention" dedicated to this purpose.
It is a system of "overlapping" of individual chambers in the cuffs, which guarantees more precise movement of the lymph and prevents it from moving back during the procedure.
The recommended treatment time is not less than 30 minutes. As far as the upper limit of the procedure is concerned, there are no studies on this subject - in case of more advanced swelling, two 60-minute procedures will bring better results than one performed for 120 minutes.
